Home for the Holidays

Shawn does such a great job on our Christmas card each year anything I write here will be hard to keep up with. The other highlight of this time of year are all of the college-aged former youth riders that come home for the holidays. I'm always amazed by what great people our young riders become and the great friendships they make.

First, Nicole Perry came back over the break from working at Kiesner's. It's always great to hear all of the cool things that she is learning over at Joel's. That brought together Kelle King, Roxanne Shelgren, Jamie Costanzo and Michael Johnson for a good day of catching up.

Then we had the original Hidden Hills gang reunion. Hannah Kulik is on break from Loyola Marymount. Payton and Cooper Koch were back from studying film at Chapman and theater in New York City. Nicole Krueger and Jordan Parr were also out at the barn to catch up with them too.

In the spirit of New Years we celebrate old friends and new friends. Each year that passes, it's amazing to see each of these riders take shape as wonderful young adults.

Riding Lessons are on as scheduled. The schedule is picking up as show season nears, make sure you confirm your lesson time with Michael.As Michael likes to say, "Things are getting CRAZY!"

Outside of the Barn

Lowe Rider Michael Johnson received 501c3 status for his non-profit, the Centaurs Foundation. The foundation will pair parolees with rescue horses. Support this worthy cause which helps transitioning humans and equines!
